How to Unlock AT&T iPhone free

This Unlock process is for iPhone to be used with other than AT&T carriers. Especially when you are planning to travel and enjoy your iPhone with other GSM providers.
In order to unlock you or anybody should have to be or used to be AT&T customer and iPhone should be at least 6 months in use with the contract.

1. Go to att.com/deviceunlock (without www);
2. Agree with the terms;
3. Fill the form provided (you can find IMEI in your phone's Settings>General>About):

4. Submit and wait for 3-5 days AT&T customer support to send you an email about the unlock status. Usually email comes from order@ecom.wire...
5. You can try to start unlocking with iTunes or better wait for another 24 hours this unlock process to sync with iTunes.
You will need followings at this moment:
- AT&T sim card even it is not functional or try any other;
- iPhone USB cable;
- iTunes from apple.com;
- PC and your iPhone.
6. Download iTunes from https://www.apple.com/itunes and install into your PC or if you have it already just connect your iPhone to your PC with its cable.
Insert AT&T sim card into your phone;
7. When you Connect your iPhone iTunes will show you:

8. Set up with new iPhone and press continue. Start Manual Backup your iPhone contents to your Computer.
9. After backup, open your iPhone and Go to Settings>General>Reset and press Erase All Content and Settings and after confirm by pressing red Erase iPhone. Don't disconnect your iPhone while it is erasing your iPhone contents.
10. When all are done, your iTunes will show this:

11. Now you can press Continue.
12. Click Restore from this Backup and press Continue. When it finishes, it is all done.

Sometimes it is confusing when you are first time in iTunes. If you want to go to your iPhone menu just press iPhone on the right top corner.
